Balloon Boy fully inflated
Balloon Boy arrived at ACMI early this morning ready to grace the entrance to the Tim Burton exhibition. Originally created by Tim Burton specially for the exhibition at MoMA, Balloon Boy has travelled all the way from New York to be at ACMI.
The special equipment required to inflate it came all the way from Geelong! It was the only piece of machinery (suitably ‘Burtonesque’ in itself) that could be found in the state able to manage the job. It arrived last night at 9pm and had to be back on a building site by 5am this morning.
