Say his name three times and you just might make him appear! Last Thursday night’s Burton Club revellers did some serious Beetlejuice-like head spinning when Tim Burton joined the fray.
Tim chatted to the party-goers, posed for photos and signed autographs while the wonderful Ensemble Las Medusas filled the room with suitably Danny Elfman-esque musical motifs.
But Tim didn’t get all the “oohs” and “aahs” and the ‘looking on in stunned disbelief’ – the sword-swallowing Baroness Micsha also had the room spellbound with a demonstration of her prowess with over-sized cutlery.

Tonight’s entertainment features the pulsating rhythms of Johnnie and the Johnnie Johnnies, the outrageous Snuff Puppets and Zombie hula hoopers Hoopnotised.

ACMI’s Burton Club kicks off at 6pm and runs until 10pm. You may want to check out Tim Burton: The Exhibition as well, or just drop by the club for a drink (there is no entry fee for the Burton Club).
