Highlights from the Burton Wonderland

Back in May we put out a call for original artworks inspired by Tim Burton. The response has been avalanchian (yes we know that probably isn’t a word). From painting to photography, and digital media art to found-object-collage, the range of expression is spectacular.  Click here to have a look-see.

While the top ten will be judged by Tim Burton shortly and the best artwork selected by public vote, we thought we’d pick out a few that have caught our eye. First up are four, very different, takes on a female protaganist:

The submission deadline is 5pm on Friday 13 August so please get out your blood-inked paintbrushes, gnarled greyleads and wonky canvases and send in some of your artistic endeavours pronto! We look forward to seeing your morbid and fantastical creations and adding them to the online gallery.
