DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition

A Shrek-tacular Event

Love the cranky green ogre Shrek and the resourceful hens from Chicken Run? Familiar with how to train your dragon or the secret lives of Madagascan animals?

Then prepare yourself for DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition in 2014!

We’re joining forces with DreamWorks Animation to create an exciting exhibition experience where we crack open an incredible archive of never-before-seen original artworks, give you behind-the-scenes access to the creative talents of the studio, and create new interactive experiences.

Our exhibition will focus on the significant contribution that the studio has made to the field of animation and trace their creative legacy, from Antz and Kung Fu Panda to next year’s anticipated feature, How to Train Your Dragon 2.

In this celebration of 20 years of the studio’s much loved feature films, there will be something for everybody.

To pique your excitement, we’ll leave you with this clip of Madagascar‘s King Julian the lemur singing I Like To Move It:

DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition
will have its world premiere at ACMI on Thursday 10 April and run until Sunday 26 October 2014, as part of Melbourne Winter Masterpieces.
